  • A beautiful walkway with views of a gorgeous gorge. The waterfall was barely a trickle when we visited, but it was well worth the visit. We could see the skyrail from there and also the Kuranda train ...  more »
  • The National Park can be reached best from Kuranda out. There is ample parking and you can admire the waterfalls here you best and free of charge. There are still some viewpoints and also trails for an active. Better, you can not see the rainforest of Queensland.

  • Good to visit again. Beautiful weather this time of the year and pleasant to be walking around in without the excess sweat from humidity. The Barron Falls weren't flowing to a great extent as expected after a wet season up here. But the walking through the dense foliage is always a relaxing pleasure here.
  • Beautiful Barron Gorge! A great place to unwind and relax with nature. Most of this National park was very well maintained consistently.I only say most as we ran out of time to do more exploring. But what we did experience while touring this lovely park was good walkways, access and information provided was easy to navigate and this helped enhance the overall experience of the natural beauty found here!I would recommend to have a good 3-4 hours or a day and a half at least here if you hsvevygwt sort of time available to 'wonder' about!
  • We chose to view a huge beautiful waterfall from the Barron Falls power station and weren't disappointed, even the drive up was spectacular with several smaller waterfalls alongside the road worth stopping at for a photo as well.
  • Fantastic waterfall near Karumba. With well built walkways to get to the viewing areas, it's well maintained and worth seeing. A great experience to see these falls a few days after Cyclone Nora. They were raging, and well worth the trip.
  • Brilliant waterfall to visit if it has rained recently and if there's been a heavy rain then make sure you go. Well worth the trip and it's on a main gravel road which is the only one waterfall or creek that is along that road. It's a nice board walk down and there is plenty of parking with toilets at the top. You may also get to see the train that also runs past the bottom of the boardwalk. What more reasons do you need to check it out! 😊
