  • Not a lot other than food but the juices and laksa were great! Good atmosphere and a lot of people around but not a lot of space to sit in the shade.  more »
  • This market runs regardless of the weather. The vendors are well prepared for storms and the wonderful food and atmosphere continues. There were lots of lovely stalls but the main reason I’d visit aga...  more »

  • Great atmosphere and great food. The Parap Village Market is a great place to get a good Laksa. These markets are relatively small but pack a lot in. The markets are mainly food and produce but also have a selection of clothing and accessory stalls along with a massage booth and a variety of other stalls. Parap has one of the few markets that continue throughout the wet season.
  • Great variety of delicious multicultural food Wonder ful local craft good coffee. Good place to meet up with friends.
  • This market reminds me of home, in tropical Malaysia. The setup resembles the night markets back home (pasar malam), although this one is in the daytime (read: scorching heat). You will be spoilt for choice in terms of food; we had the seafood laksa and it was yummy (service was fast even though the stall had the longest queue). I also liked the fried sesame ball with red bean filling, from a stall just slightly behind the laksa stall, selling Thai sweets and dessert. Lots of drinks stalls selling juices and shakes and lassie. There are also plenty of arts & crafts and knick knack stalls.
  • The Parap markets have been going forever. I last came here 30 years ago! Still got the best street food in Darwin plus a handful of craft etc stalls selling locally made wares. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Darwin any Saturday.
  • Very Darwin...open markets lots to eat. Hand crafts massages and music all here. You meet everyone...
