  • Great place for a pre-breakfast walk. Relaxing yet stimulating there is plenty to action on the river with the rowers doing their thing and back on land the bicyclists hurry to and fro. When you have ...  more »

  • Not that impressed. despite the nice showroom, great range of bikes to peruse and free cappuccinos, they make some horrendous errors. I experienced 3 major errors/problems in 2 years. Would you wait 36 hours for your bike to be serviced even when pre booked?. Would you wait 3 months for a 1 day repair to be done only to have the bike returned with half the work done?. I ve taken my crazy motorcycle addiction - and the tens of thousands of dollars i spend on it elsewhere. I don t think they've even noticed. If i could give a zero i would.
  • Pathetic bike service and customer service. Beware!! Don't take you bike to BMW Southbank for service!!! Had my BMW S1000RR taken there for 20k service. Shortly after that, the bike started stalling. Took it in for the bike to be checked and they charged me $180 even when they had not mentioned it to me at the time of booking. After checking they said they could not find any problem with the bike. Took the bike back and the problem kept happening and one day the bike completely died on me in the middle of the freeway. Very Scary!!! This time the service manager gave me all kind of reasons, blaming everything from Australian fuel being bad to stating if these bikes are used for daily commuting they give problems. The attitude of the service manager was totally appalling. Had them check the bike again and all they found was battery being flat (which is very unusual for a bike being driven everyday) and all they did this time was charge the battery. Took it to another BMW dealer to get the bike checked and they found the problem in no time.
  • Bought new 310 R, very happy with the service i received , especially at the 1000 km service with a lower than expected cost. When upgrading will buy another bike from Southbank BMW ... Terry
  • Awesome service from Shaun McCoy and Jordan, the tech at Southbank Motorrad. Had my bike in for a major service and these guys did an awesome job with the time that they had to work with. Was kept informed every step of the way and no suprises on the invoice. We only take our BMW's to Southbank motorcycles.
  • Service department have consistently exceeded my expectations.

Where to stay in Melbourne

The hub of tourist and commercial activity, the center of Melbourne remains the best place to stay if you're looking to splurge and enjoy every possible modern amenity during your visit. Travelers on a limited budget can search for cozy yet less expensive rooms in the seaside suburb of St Kilda or the bohemian neighborhood of Fitzroy. Though the city center offers more than a fair share of mid-range lodging options, you'll also find plenty of rooms in this price bracket in the quieter suburbs.
