#Nature / Park, #Must See
Sitting on 5 hectares (12.35 acres) by Mena Creek Falls, Paronella Park is the exquisite park Jose Paronella made a reality. To learn about the 7,500 tropical plants and trees that cover the park, take a 45-minute guided tour to hear the story of the park's creation before embarking on a self-guided botanical walk. Admire the castle and relax in the picnic area by the falls, and perhaps stay until the evening for a photo session on the flood-lit grounds. A visit to Paronella Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Mena Creek trip builder app to plot your vacation.

  • The night tours are not to be missed. The free camping was an added bonus, as we planned to stay elsewhere then visit. The sights were spectacular. The owner is such a genuine person with a fantastic vision, combined with a real respect for the property's history. What is included in entry to this magnificent place is amazing and well worth the trip. I felt my inner child come out to play on the night tour. It felt like something out of a princess movie. Think Jungle Book meets Anastasia. We'll definitely be using our 2 year free pass (another amazing inclusion) to bring family and friends back.
  • I spent an amaaazing time with my husband at Paronella Park!! By the time we arrived we were welcomed by the owner of the park who is a lovely and kind person. As soon as we got in we felt that special energy and how nature blessed everything. We've done the tour with the lovely guide Mai and she explained to us all the history involved in each part of the park with a lot of passion. It's impossible not to fall in love for all the effort done by Jose and his family to turn that place in a sanctuary. Going to Paronella Park is definitely an fulfilling experience! Thanks for the good time we spent there =)
  • Great little bit of history. Tour guide was great and very passionate. Some of the buildings are falling down. Cafe service area is too small. Food was great and staff very friendly.
  • Beautiful place and the best staff service I have ever had. The company prides itself on the service and they are succeeding. Make sure you do the day, night and hydro electric tours that are all included in the entry price. The places that you are taken too during these tours are something special.
  • Fascinating park. I did the night tour which was more magic than the daytour. Also want to mention the friendly atmosphere among the staff and good quality guides working in five languages. The popularity makes it crowded sometimes esp. in peak seasons and as with most popular tourist sites you can also get a feeling of commerce.
