  • Wow! What an amazing time we had on a family dive trip to the GBR. Although the sea was pretty rough, the crew made the trip as comfortable as they could. The service was nothing short of superb throu...  more »
  • Thank you to Jay and the Team for a lovely day and especially to Wayne for looking after me on the 3 dives. Definitely the best dive boat I have been on. Great service from start to finish. I would hi...  more »
  • This is the best scuba/snorkel company in Port Douglas and well worth the $. I decided to splurge, as the Great Barrier Reef is a once in a lifetime experience - so god that I did! We were in a small ...  more »

  • Great day. Knowledgeable and hard working crew who were all keen to teach us everything they could about the reef sites we were visiting. Small group. We researched other providers and opted for ABC Diving due to the max of 12 passengers/day. We had 8 on our trip. I’ve been on a number of diving tours around Australia and this one is up there with the best of them. You won’t go wrong with ABC.
  • Could not recommend these guys highly enough!!! Excellent service, quality gear and great set up. Extremely professional and fun crew to spend the day with. If you're diving in Port Douglas definitely go and see these guys!!
  • Locals Loved Open & Advanced Water Dive Courses! I have lived in Port Douglas all my life and I was a little bit nervous about doing my dive certification, so I started asking around and heard that ABC Dive were the most professional company in the local region. I was definitely not let down! The class size was also very intimate, with only 4 students and 2 instructors. The head instructor Wayne, is a course director (which means he certifies instructors). By the end of day one I had learnt so much and so many safety techniques that I was excited to get in the ocean. The next 2 days were spent out on the stunning Opal reef, where we visited 6 different dive sites. On board, there was a total of 7 guests and the food was excellent and catered for dietary requirements. Wayne also spent a lot of time with us, teaching us how to calculate dive nitrogen tables. Each day, Paul (another instructor) gave highly educated marine biology presentations, and as a university student in a similar field, I was inspired and amazed by his level of passion and knowledge. By the end of my open water certification I was hooked and had made some awesome new friends. Two weeks after the completion of my open water certification, I hassled Jay from ABC again about undergoing my Advanced Open Water certification. After completing my Advanced certification (which was amazing) and diving with several other operators, I realized how lucky I was to have learnt with ABC. This is the friendliest, most lovely and knowledgeable in the business. I can definitively say that ABC is the best!
  • I met Jay already years ago in 2012 when he convinced me to do a diving licence with him. Since this time I always come back to dive with him again and there was not even a single point ever I could miss or complain about. Nowadays with his own boat and crew is this trip to the Great Barrier Reef even more exciting. He spoils you with countless underwater pictures from you and your family and friends. Being with him and his crew is just breathtaking. I always enjoy going out to the reef with this awesome team. And for the reason I lived in Port Douglas quite a while I got to know all the other dive companies, as well. And I can assure his service and quality is nothing you can ever compare with anyone else there. Be sure to do it with the most advanced guy and get the most out of it!
  • From start to finish the whole day was perfect. The crew were great. Very helpful and informative with a great sense of humour. The boat was nice and small so we could go to dive sites away from the huge groups, the boat isn't tiny though if anyone is worried about seasickness. The food was also really nice and as an added bonus we got professional quality photos included in the price. I would have gone straight back out the next day if I could have.
