  • I was recently a guest at a stunning wedding on the observation deck. The incredible view of the city was equally matched by the delicious food!  more »
  • Great place to spend 30 minutes or so to take a few photos. Something you don't get the chance to do everyday, would recommend.  more »
  • I am sure many of you would have visited taller buildings than this Observatory but I would strongly recommend not to skip it because the beauty of Gold Coast is incomparable. Do not forget Gold Coast...  more »

  • I wish I could give this 2.5. I don't know why but I couldn't find a menu online for this place. Obviously nice views but they told us the kitchen closes at 7pm so we had to rush to order. We had the seafood platter for two. It came with no sauce,I asked for sum and it never came. The salad was nothing much. The chips were salty, the calamari was the best item of the lot,the fish was small thin pieces, prawns were nice and the mussels tasted better than expected. Price wise it was little more than expected for what you get We had to clean our own table and it was closer to the end of the night they started cleaning. If service was better I would give it a better mark.
  • An iconic place of Gold Coast. Our entry was free because we had a season pass from Dreamworld. At the observation deck, you can see a whole stretch of Surfers Paradise. There are pay-to-use binoculars around if you want to try your luck in spotting a cockroach at a very far distance. There is a cafe too. I personally love the view from up there. Quite pleasant to the eyes. Staffs were very friendly and never fail to put up a smile. Would definitely recommend to those who loves sightseeing.
  • Great touristy spot to get your bearings on Surfer's Paradise and surrounds. There's also a restaurant up top but was closed on the day we went. The little kids and bar offer a selection of sweet treats as well as some savoury finger foods. We went for a Corona after a day of walking and seeing things. My only complaint is how wasteful it is to photograph visitors upon arrival and print them out in hopes of making an unqualified sale at the end of their visit. It's not environmentally friendly and wished there was a better way to do this.
  • The view is excellent, definately worth a visit. As they advertise, a vantage point so high right along the coastline is quite rare, and the coast really is magnificent. We used their underground carpark which is shared with a few other tenants. Certain spots are clearly marked SkyPoint, so you park in those bays then register your number plate when entering the venue. They don't prompt you regarding this though, so don't forget! 2 hours parking is included. The observation deck itself is closed off so you can't feel the wind or fresh air, unless you opt for the climbing tour. There's a basic cafe restaurant as well, but the food didn't look particularly inviting. Recommend maybe grabbing a coffee here as we did. There are ramps as well as stairs to navigate the observation deck so both pram and wheelchair friendly. There are plenty of comfortable seats available to all visitors and not restricted to cafe patrons. Only real negative is the swivel mounted binoculars you see at similar venues here are pay per user of $2. I've seen them free at many other locations. Otherwise, top place to visit, safe and well maintained, and accessible. Recommended, well worth the $25 entry.
  • Had a great experience at sky point. Went multiple times using our dream world passes. Was lovely to sit by the window and watch the streets below during the day. We returned for dinner on our last night in surfers and although the tables are a little awkward, the food was really nice and good value. Would love to return on next trip!
