  • Bigger than you think once you realise you can venture into the wetlands. Great little walk. Awesome views to all animals. Lion and cheetah part definitely my favorite. Great kids parts. A little spade and shovel wouldn't go astray with the little ones. Cute sandpit.
  • I could not see any Kangaroos or any other native animals in the zoo except for 2 Koalas sleeping behind branches. The only worthwhile experience was the off road safari which was 1 hour. Paying $76 pp along spending 2 hours on the road to get there and coming back, I’d say it’s not worth it. To be fair, the zoo is a great playground for children; I’m sure they would enjoy playing in the park.
  • A beautiful scenic ride on a zebra open small bus. A trip to remember. A real experience for any member of the family. Well worth a visit. Buses can drop you off at the front gate if you have no car and a train to Werribee then a bus that comes quite often during the day and weekend.
  • We took children to this zoo but we really enjoyed it as well. The train in particular which took us on a mini safari was a good way of getting round the zoo without having to walk too much. There were plenty of places to buy food which was not too expensive but good places to have a picnic as well.
  • The safari bus was definitely the highlight. It was my second time here and I absolutely love this place. All the animals look so at ease, and the zoo really promotes conservation and gives lots of informations about every single animals that they have. All the staff and volunteers were amazing, friendly and always there to answer your questions. I would most certainly be back again, since Werribee zoo is the reason why I got their membership!!
