  • Great zoo and experience for the family. Very good for children and not a overly massive place to walk. Thought of well and good facilities all around. Staff is welcoming and good especially with kids and providing a fun and engaging memoriable moment. Food is what you would expect at these places a little on the expensive side but not terrible. Overall the place is great and bigger than you would expect and a great family outing. Get in early to see the shows and talks as well as the Lions eating on the hood of the car.
  • Awesome place to visit, great interaction with Zoo staff & in talking to them you can see their passion for the animals, loved the safari. Plenty of food at reasonable prices. Naturally there is a gift shop, but check out the African made beads, a great way for African farmers to earn alternate income. Definitely if you have a chance to go, do it!
  • There isn’t a huge diversity of animals, but the space each animal has really allows you to see them relaxed and at home. The inner walking path has lions, hippos, gorillas, African wild dogs, cheetahs, and a host of Australian animals (yes, koalas and kangaroos!) - the free bus tour takes you past some amazing herbivores, including giraffes and rhinos. Definitely a great day out for kids and animal lovers.
  • We visited on a lovely sunny autumn day. We enjoyed a good 5 hrs at the Zoo, including the Safari and the main walking loop. Most of the animals were visible despite the open-range nature of the zoo. The dig pit with the crocodile "skeletons" didn't have any 'tools' for the kids to use, so it made it hard for the kids to dig. Generally overall it was a fun day with the kids (ages 4, 2, and 7 months).
  • Awesome place to get in touch with the wildlife. It is huge open space and one can see many unique animals. My favorite one was the Mongolian Wild horses and Southern White Rhino's. The staff here are doing wonderful job by protecting many animals which are getting extinct. Overhaul a very nice place to visit.
