Margaret River

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Canal Rocks and Caves Road. When in Margaret River, make a side trip to see Dolphin & Whale Watching in Dunsborough, approximately 36 minutes away. Spend the 24th (Sun) on a tasty journey with a beer tour and tasting. There's lots more to do: stop by Treeton Fine Wood Studio, brush up on your knowledge of spirits at The Grove Experience, and do a tasting at Howard Park - Margaret River Winery and Cellar Door.

Albany

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Step off the beaten path and head to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Little Beach. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Middleton Beach, get great views at Rotary Lookout Albany, pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, and pause for some serene contemplation at The Church of Saint John the Evangelist.

A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
