Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Cape Tourville Lighthouse and Gala Estate Vineyard are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Friendly Beaches and Wineglass Bay Lookout. Take a break from Coles Bay with a short trip to East Coast Natureworld in Bicheno, about 32 minutes away. Spend the 3rd (Thu) exploring nature at Freycinet National Park.
