A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and Water wheel. Take a break from the city and head to Surfers Point and Margaret River Mouth Beach. Go for a jaunt from Margaret River to Augusta to see Jewel Cave about 34 minutes away. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Cowaramup Bay, Head underground at Lake Cave, and indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour.

Known for its "green" development and north-facing beach, Noosa is a natural getaway.
