Cape Tribulation

A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
Get in touch with nature at Daintree Discovery Centre and Myall Beach. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Cow Bay Beach and Cape Tribulation Beach. Spend the 6th (Thu) exploring nature at Daintree National Park. There's still lots to do: trek along Dubuji Boardwalk and get a new perspective on nature at Daintree Entomological museum.

A neat, cosmopolitan city of shaded plazas and laid-back neighborhoods, Cairns serves as a popular base for exploration of the surrounding region and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as a center for watersport activities like surfing or waterskiing.
Visit Palm Cove Beach and Trinity Beach for some beach relaxation. Get a sense of the local culture at St Monica's Cathedral and Bones and Jones. Step out of Cairns to go to Palm Cove and see Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, which is approximately 44 minutes away. Spend the 20th (Thu) among aquatic life with a scuba or snorkeling tour. The adventure continues: stroll through Esplanade Boardwalk, head outdoors with Esplanade Lagoon Pool, do some two-wheel cruising with Trail Bike Adventures, and view the masterpieces at Underart Gallery.
