A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Spend the 18th (Sat) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Explore Albany's surroundings by going to Denmark (Singlefile Wines & Greens Pool). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at National Anzac Centre, explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, don't miss a visit to Albany Wind Farm, and get engrossed in the history at Albany's Historic Whaling Station.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.

Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. On the 28th (Tue), take in the exciting artwork at The Ningaloo Gallery, enjoy the sand and surf at Turquoise Bay, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Ningaloo Reef. Keep things going the next day: enjoy the sea views from Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, then meet some fierce fish with a shark diving experience, and then soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers.
