Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Get outdoors at Dolphin & Whale Watching and Monkey Rock. Get a sense of the local culture at Duke's Vineyard and The Church of Saint John the Evangelist. Venture out of the city with trips to Moombaki Wines (in Denmark) and Tree Top Walk (in Walpole). And it doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Little Beach, stroll through Middleton Beach, and pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial.
