A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Step out of the city life by going to Cable Beach and Gantheaume Point. Spend the 29th (Sat) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Tue): find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, then explore the gorgeous colors at Ningaloo Reef, and then have unforgettable encounters with a shark diving experience. Step out of the city life by going to Cape Le Grand National Park and Twilight Bay. Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at National Anzac Centre and Albany's Historic Whaling Station. Escape the urban bustle at Greens Pool and The Gap and Natural Bridge. Take a break from Albany with a short trip to Anvil Beach in Denmark, about 52 minutes away. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Little Beach, don't miss a visit to Albany Wind Farm, browse the collection at Albany Public Library, and get great views at Rotary Lookout Albany.
