Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Visit Cheynes Beach and Middleton Beach for some beach relaxation. Get in touch with nature at Dolphin & Whale Watching and Little Beach. The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Emu Point, admire the landmark architecture of The Church of Saint John the Evangelist, tour the pleasant surroundings at Ellen Cove Boardwalk, and pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial.
