Visit Noosa Main Beach and Kings Beach for some beach relaxation. For shopping fun, head to The Original Eumundi Markets or Maleny Cheese. Get out of town with these interesting Noosa side-trips: Opals Down Under (in Glenview), MaisyMoo (in Caloundra) and Atrium Gallery at Buderim Craft Cottage (in Buderim). A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
You'll get in some beach time at Myall Beach and Cape Tribulation Beach. Take a break from the city and head to Daintree National Park and Dubuji Boardwalk. Go for a jaunt from Cape Tribulation to Cow Bay to see Daintree Discovery Centre about 34 minutes away. There's still lots to do: delve into the lush surroundings at Daintree Rainforest - Cooper Creek Wilderness, take in the dramatic scenery at Alexandra Bay Waterfall, enjoy the sand and surf at Cow Bay Beach, and experience rural life at Cape Trib Farm.
