Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Tue): trek along Wineglass Bay Lookout, then kick back and relax at Coles Bay Jetty, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Honeymoon Bay. Keep things going the next day: enjoy the sand and surf at Friendly Beaches.

Get in touch with nature at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Mount Wellington. Visit Seven Mile Beach and Bellerive Beach for some beach relaxation. Go for a jaunt from Hobart to Port Arthur to see Port Arthur Historic Site about 1h 10 min away. And it doesn't end there: steep yourself in history at Cascades Female Factory Historic Site, look for gifts at Hammer and Hand Metal Gallery, see the interesting displays at Mona, and browse the different shops at Cat and Fiddle Arcade.
