Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): kick back and relax at Greens Pool. Keep things going the next day: explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, kick back and relax at Little Beach, Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Middleton Beach.

Melbourne to Albany is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight, train, and bus; or drive.
