Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
On the 27th (Sun), identify plant and animal life at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, see the interesting displays at Mona, and then take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. On the 28th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: steep yourself in history at Cascades Female Factory Historic Site, enjoy the sand and surf at Bellerive Beach, kick back and relax at Long Beach, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Wellington, and finally explore the world behind art at Lady Franklin Gallery.

Singapore, Singapore to Hobart is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. You'll lose 2 hours traveling from Singapore to Hobart due to the time zone difference. Plan for much colder temperatures traveling from Singapore in May, with highs in Hobart at 18°C and lows at 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Tue) so you can drive to Coles Bay.

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Tue): relax in the rural setting at Freycinet Marine Farm, tour the pleasant surroundings at Wineglass Bay Lookout, and then kick back and relax at Honeymoon Bay. On the 30th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for all kinds of wild species at Friendly Beaches and then take in the waterfront at Coles Bay Jetty.
