  • The museum, a private collection, is housed in a purpose-built building constructed of convict-made bricks. It focusses on the activities of the European explorers who called there from the 1870-s.  more »
  • Quirky, but excellent local collection. The Cook tree remains are here, which was an interesting read. Although small, plenty to see, and reasonable priced.
  • Interesting small museum with information about and artifacts from intrepid explorers of Australia and the Pacific. Includes the remains of Cook’s Tree. Located on the way to the memorial at Captain Cook’s Landing Place. Pleasant host.
