#3 of 12 in Nature in Albany
Sprawling along the Rainbow Coast, Torndirrup National Park is best known for its impressive wave-carved rock formations, including the Gap, Natural Bridge, and the Blowholes. The wild and rugged coastal park features a range of walking trails with spectacular lookouts offering sweeping views of waves crashing against granite cliffs. Its mixed forest is home to kangaroos, many small nocturnal animals, and some poisonous snakes. In addition to bushwalking and sightseeing, many visitors enjoy rock climbing, whale watching, picnicking, and fishing off white sandy beaches. Tourist facilities are scarce and include public restrooms, picnic tables, and barbeque spots.
