Details

Take a guided walk through Bendigo's historic centre; discover past visionaries, urban legends and pivotal moments that made Bendigo the world's richest city of the 1880s.

All the time you'll be surrounded by the distinctive Bendigo boom style architecture that earned an international reputation as the Vienna of the south.

Your guides live locally, are knowledgeable about the facts, the quirky and the not so well known stories of Bendigo.

Tours start at the Conservatory adjoining Pall Mall, and move through the former Government Camp covering a distance of less than a kilometre. It is easy walking and very informal with lots of stops (toilets & drinking fountain on route).

You will finish at the top of View Street right next to the Bendigo Art Gallery and the Marilyn Monroe exhibition.
