  • Everyone who goes to Brisbane comes here. It has a great view over the city during the day or at night. Parking is difficult, so just park along the road with everyone else.  more »
  • I took the bus from Brisbane city to the look out. Bus 417 was the direct route ($4.70). Problem of taking the bus is that you’re limited by their schedule, which is about once per hour coming down fr...  more »

  • Lovely walk up to the top from the Botanic gardens! We saw a lot of different types of birds and we're rewarded with a nice view of Brisbane at the top. The path was quite separate from the road so there were no car disturbances. Lovely little walk!
  • Beaut place to take visitors on a clear day, to give them some perspective of the size of the city, the winding Brisbane River, and the hills that surround us. Nice little cafe with really tasty breakfasts and lunches... And an upmarket restaurant too that makes the best of it's location to showcase the views. There are many walks here too, from easy to difficult. Lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon. I prefer afternoons as the sun is behind you for picture taking
  • Beautiful spot to view the city. There are always loads of dogs there making everyone's day by being ridiculously adorable. I went on one of the trails intending it just to be a short walk as I was wearing inappropriate attire; a dress and flats. Ended up walking a couple of km and the climb back up almost killed me as well as more people than I'd like getting a view of my posterior. (they are steep hills!!) Despite embarrassment and dehydration I had a great time and am looking forward to doing the trails in my active wear.
  • Nice view point of Brisbane. Great place to set up a picnic on the lawns and have some lunch. They also have a cafe and restaurant, but you can easily bring your own lunch with a pleasant view. Free parking and bathrooms and not too far from the city centre.
  • Brilliant views. Amazing spot for first time visitors. Good cafes at the top and like spaces to relax and enjoy the view. Recommend carrying a jacket since mostly it's quite cold. But live the views
