  • The rather large and diverse exhibition. Beautiful realistic paintings. Would have liked a little more information about each painting.

  • Good place to soak up some artwork and chill on days where you just want to relax and do something slow. The exhibits are very interesting and they change on a seasonal basis as well. Good place to go for dates and just to unwind. Parking is pricey but the museum is pretty much free.
  • The Queensland Art Gallery is quite simply awesome! Nestled in the beautiful river, it is a lovely work and an amazing building! There are always fantastic exhibitions - and staff are friendly! Seen a few exhibitions and the latest one, Patricia Piccinini - really shows how an artist can reshape the place! Love the grounds, water feature and the coffee... great little cafe! A truly awesome place!
  • Pretty chill place, security and staff were friendly, however bag packs of a certain size have to be kept at a storage place due to security reasons which i can understand. They have many weird exhibits there ( in a good way) there is even a 'horror' section which is really kind of creepy. Also they have art that dates back to the 1900s to 2018. They have this awesome system which i think is targeted to art enthusiasts, basically the system stores all the data regarding the paintings (etc. location, date , name) so when the user wants to locate a piece of art, all they have to do is just search for it and it will show them the location of the art piece. Just a word of warning, there is a pinball machine there AS A PIECE OF ART, and i mistook it as a real pin ball machine and tried to insert the coin into it. After awhile, one of the staff saw me and kindly told me that it was an art piece and not a real working machine. Oh boy =/
  • This place is amazing refuge from the busy world outside. It is a portal to another world where you can put your stress away. The gallery has amazing collection of art ranging from traditional to contemporary, and all in between. The very fact, that the gallery encourages you to take photos and then to Instagram then makes it an an amazing interactive experience.
  • This is a beautiful gallery with some very well designed spaces. The art they house is interesting and varied. This is a great place to visit for a quiet hour or two.
