  • This monument consists of two approximately 11 metre high bronze arch type structures that sit either side of Anzac Parade, i.e. approximately 100 metres apart, that are representations of the handles...  more »
  • The monument was created in 2001 to the memory of the close relations between the Australian and new Zealand military units. One side of the arch is NZ and have the inscription on the Maori and English. The other Australian. On both sides there is land from Gallappoli, where the tradition of joint forces were created.
