Dunsborough Bike Hire Reviews
Bikes good and very accommodating if a little pricey but well worth it! We hired adult kids combos but they didn’t have stabilised bikes so used a tow along and trailer all good though - thanks Paul a... more »
We were very well looked after by Paul and Lisa who run this cycle rental service - they couldn't have been more helpful and the bikes were just fine. We did a great ride from Margaret River to Cowara... more »
VERY UNDERWHELMED AND DISAPPOINTED BY OUR EXPERIENCE. Customer service - Guy owner 0/5, Renae - 3/5. Turned up pre booked at 12pm. When booking the owners said they maybe a bit later than 12. No worries. 1230pm and they rock up. Guy there says "I've been waiting for you" after we literally watched him unlock and unload the bikes. No appology. We let it slide. After rushing us onto bikes, tyres were flat and brakes were loose. Could have very well picked the bikes up from a verge side collection. When pointing out the faults we were handed a pump to pump the flat, worn tyres up. Renae was a bit more hands on helping us change seat heights and offering her apologies when we said it hadn't gone well. The guy just took the $140 and chucked it in the till. Bikes - 1/5 As mentioned, bikes were old, worn and not been serviced in some time. Gears slipped which meant falling off of the pedals. Tyres were worn and had pretty much no tread. Brakes on one bike had to be reassembled by us. One wheels bearings had busted and no tools to fix. 4 males and 2 females but only 2 male bicycles meaning the guys had to use female bikes. Touring routes information - 1/5 When asked what way was best to go. We were told go left or right. Coffee shop in a hour or so. No big deal, we'll explore but after struggling with the bikes it was tedious riding. Pricing - 3/5 Prices were fair for the times. We paid $20 for about an hour and a half. We originally looked at 4 hour trip but after a pretty rubbish experience on very very poor bikes we called it early. $25 each were for 4 hours so think that we were over charged really, but just wanted to go and enjoy the rest of the day and hand the bikes back. Overall i would definitely not recommend this place. Look for other bike hire options in the area. We wouldn't hire from this place again.
