Turquoise Bay offers visitors a chance to drift along the Ningaloo Reef and see hard corals and an abundance of marine life, such as turtles and octopods. The beach, rarely crowded by tourists, features a wide strip of warm white sand where you can spend the day relaxing in the sun or picnicking. You can also dive or snorkel here and come face-to-face with the many sea creatures making their home in these blue waters. There's very little shade on this beach, so bring your own umbrella or small tent. When diving or swimming along this coastline, be careful not to get caught by the strong riptide, and keep children and novice swimmers in the shallow areas near the sand. Using our world travel planner, Exmouth attractions like Turquoise Bay can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.
Turquoise Bay Reviews
Amazing beach, whole family enjoyed it big time. Fish coming to your feet, seeing turtles popping up for breath and seeing them while snorkeling. And best of it all, almost nobody else was there. more »

Best place on earth ☀️
Fabulous beach and snorkelling spot. Bay Loop is perfect, no waves, amazing marine life. Saw plenty of colourful fish, turtles, and reef sharks. Drift Loop is a bit more challenging as there is a fairly strong current so ensure you walk a little while and then let yourself drift. Beware of the rip towards the pointy bit between Bay and Drift as it’s dangerous to swim there.
