  • BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED NATIONAL TRUST PROPERTY Como House (and Gardens) is a brilliant example of a 1950's "Italianate" building set in lush gardens. It is operated by the National trust (with a small entry fee to support its upkeep). Very popular for weddings and other civic ceremonies.
  • The gardens were smaller than I expected but pleasant for a short stroll. The food at the cafe was average in quality and expensive - I think the big breakfast was something like $21 or $22 and it was pretty mediocre. Bread was very dry and hard. Bacon and sausage were nothing special. The setting was nice so I give it 4 stars and not 3.
