A very well displayed museum. All tidy and clearly marked exhibits with a lot of detailed history of the Durrak family. Deffinately worth the drive. more »

An incredible, historic place that is well worth a visit. Only $4 per person. I learnt a lot about the area, its history, and the amazing people that made Lake Argyle what it is today. My favourite thing was learning that the homestead was dismantled from its original location (now underwater) and re-built stone by stone where it sits now. Absolutely amazing, highly recommend.

Most interesting history of the Duracks, Lake Argyle and Ord river. Well preserved and presented information. Beautiful old stone homestead and garden surrounded by typical old post and rail fence. The windmill and gum tree's add to the outback Aussie setting.
