  • The place is not bad for a getaway in the Daintree from Cairns green but if you visited the comparison does not exist ... much nicer than the second! Also because in the end looks more like a theme park and with so many too many suovenir and shops restaurants that really take away charm

  • We have booked a combined ticket for the Tjapukal Aboriginal culture park, gondola ride (Skyrail) and train (Scenic rail) has a travel agency. Contrary to expectations, the presentations in the culture were not only very interesting and entertaining, but also geared to take park (vocals, Boomerang throwing, Javelin throwing etc.). The gondola ride (with 2 drop off options) gives a wonderful view over the rainforest through the bird's eye view. With the train ride through the rain forest, you can admire flora and fauna from a different perspective. Who wants to sit comfortably while driving, can sit for an extra charge of AUD $ 50 in first class.

  • I've been here last February with my family and it was a great experience. I'd suggest you go for sky rail one way and if possible have someone pick you up (by car) when you reached the top, that way you'll be able to save some $$. There are a few markets that you'll be able to explore which is pretty good to buy some souvenirs. Highly recommended.
  • Lovely little market/craft town with nice walks around in the national park
  • Kuranda National Park is a beautiful place to visit. It is a little touristy but the locals are friendly and I recommend taking the train one way and the sky rail the other. There are two quaint markets and a butterfly house, a small zoo, a reptile house and jewelry shops.
  • A really good day out. Lovely shopping and restaurants. The butterfly house was wonderful.
  • Beautiful forests beautiful scenery
