  • A piece of Victorian history from the 1800s. This is the quarry where they mined the stone for buildings in Melbourne such as the gpo, state library, Parliament House and many others much closer to the site. There are remains of the buildings, cranes and the boiler used in the mining operation. It’s a nice walk, not too long but definitely take some water if it’s over 25c.
  • Well maintained car park & walking track up to the relics - not too far & an easy walk. Lots of old machinery dotted around & some vacant buildings to look in.
