  • This lookout is some 2-3 Klms from the small but picturesque township of Penshurst. Created by a volcanic eruption, the lookout offers 360 degree views of the surrounds from the Grampians to the North...  more »
  • Not much to say about Mount Rouse in the Victorian Western District. At the foothills there is an historic blue-stone home 'Kolor' where Dame Nellie Melba used to stay and play tennis. It's a beautiful home that forms an enduring part of Victoria's history. The passage ways are said to align in a north-south and east-west direction aligned so that they point to other extinct volcanoes in the area. It includes a dancing ballroom with a suspended floor that has a small amount of bounce to it specifically designed for hosting formal balls back in the day.
  • Nice views of Penshurst and surrounding plains
