  • I found scitech old dated and needing of a revamp.there was some pretty cool areas but for the most part i saw exactly the same shows 20 yrs ago when i took my children.  more »
  • I have been coming to Scitech since I was in primary school and still love bringing my kids here! Even in my 30's I learn so much, and so do the kids.  more »
  • We visit regularly and our kids love Scitech. So many different activities, you can easily spend 3- 4 hours if you also see the shows. There is a separate area for younger children. And there is an ex...  more »

  • Our kids love this place. Good place to go all year round but even more so on a rainy day in the winter time. Young children don’t get sick of this place because there is always something new. I think I enjoyed the science show even more than the kids. We have seen many planetarium shows over and over again, but always walk away with something new.
  • My son loves Scitech, we go fairly regularly to see the new exhibits. When he was younger we took advantage of the ToddlerFest weeks with other young kids. Recently we enjoyed the drama of the Glowing show and tried our best to get through the laser room without setting off the alarms. Lots of variety to explore in the permanent exhibits as well (Some are the same from when I was a child!). Only negative I have is that the constant light and noise immediately give me a headache which lasts the whole time we are in there (worth noting I am not usually prone to headaches).
  • Amazing they even had an origami specialist who designed and made his own paper plane which like a boomerang flies back to you and lands on your palm in a variety of Figure 8 vertically and horizontally glide paths (if you throw it with his practiced skill!). He made several for me as well as many other onlookers and as a volunteer does it out of love for science and the joy of sharing his art.
  • Well worth it, great value day out. The kids are engaged in many different ways that get them thinking about science as well as having fun. The range and accessibility of the experiments is good for children of all ages. The best thing is we have been four times in the past 8 months and every time we have gone there were significant changes with new features, so the staff seem to work hard to keep it fresh. One of the best extras is that they also run several different shows and performances, from puppet shows, to cosmos shows in the planetarium.
  • Loved Sci-tech but it can sometimes become very crowded and you then can't use the displays. The staff are very enthusiastic and willing to help or answer any questions.
