  • Spectacular view, iconic dam. In summer flies will spoil the mood. Very limited access to the dam wall if you can't do stairs. The 'shop' on site has been closed for some time, which is a shame. Opening it might bring some life into this site that deserves more attention.
  • A must see destination in Tasmania for any nature lover. Amazing roads to get you there with occasional sleepy townships, giving way to stunning natural scenery. 270km from Hobart, Part motorcyclist's / motorist's nirvana in the journey to the destination (read bends, twists and occasional straights), part breathtaking views on the way there, making the destination all the more worth the journey there.
