endota spa Martin Place Reviews
The staff at this particular endorsed spa are seemingly completely untrained. I had two gift vouchers. The massage was pathetic in the extreme. Thought I would try the facial. Left with a huge red swo... more »
Since I am pregnant and restricted to what I can do, I thought I’d treat myself on my Birthday with a pregnancy massage at Endota Spa. For me, it truly wasn’t the best. It was pretty basic. I just lai... more »
Would not recommend. I booked in for a 50 minute facial. The spa itself was not up to my standards. For similarly priced services in the US, you would get a much nicer relaxation area/treatment rooms. It was essentially a hotel lounge with some dirty furniture and a few dividers between you and the other clients. The treatment rooms were more of the same. As far as the service itself, I basically spent $125 to have someone else rub product all over my face. At one point, she had so many layers of product caked on that there was no way my skin was absorbing any of it. Then she proceeded to rub her fingers through my hair while the product sat on my skin so now I have to shower again because my hair is so greasy. It wasn’t even a scalp massage. It was very strange and the whole thing was not relaxing, as I thought about how I had just washed and dried my hair and now I would have to do it again. No arm or leg massage. A very short (like 1 minute total) foot massage. I suppose in Australia they don’t do extractions with facials. I’ve had many facials and this was the worst by far. Again, I realize this is Aus and not the US, but if it was the US, I would be complaining and asking for my money back.
Very disappointing experience. Booked a 60 minute massage for stress relief and relaxation. It only went for 50 minutes. Felt like they rushed through. Then they tried to push products on me. Not at all relaxing. In future, will go somewhere local where the staff actually care.
