South Cronulla Beach Reviews
Not as crowded as Bondi Beach but it does offer a nice and quiet sand beach with rock pool. If you are not fond of getting wet there is also a nice walk along the beach front. more »
It was a bit overcast today but still plenty of surfers in the water. Beach looked clean and there were two beach pools at waters edge. Would be great for family on a better day. more »
Beautifully blue on this morning as I swam and I baked in an attempt to get a bit of colour on my legs. South Cronulla is more family oriented and has a cozy feel to it. Perhaps that’s why I gravitate there. A great fish and chip shop close by, plus cafes and a five minute walk to the holiday-vibe plaza. But who needs a plaza when you’ve got this? 🏖 11/1 - South ‘nully this morning is gentle and quite still for swimming. Kids do backflips on the sand and young girls in frilly costumes remind you of something past. Families of joy today, still bringing the Christmas spirit. Like July/August in parts of Europe, December/January is our time out. To the right of the second photograph is the Cronulla Pavilion where the lifeguards sit and Barefoot on the Beach, a fab cafe and food place.
Best Sydney beach south of harbour.
