  • We wanted to visit on a Saturday at about 3:30 pm. Checked the website - "open 10 am to 5 pm". Went there, gates were open with sign "open 10 am to 5 pm". We walked in and stumbled right into a weddin...  more »

  • What an excellent reminder of the past and of course, a great place to sample local wines. We stopped off for a visit. The front section was under repair so the tastings are in the Cricketer's Bar. Gr...  more »

  • Has to be one of my favorite places in South Australia. There is nothing wrong about this place. They have a gazillion wine tasting options, a beautiful estate and great great servicing. What I loved the most about this place was how well kept everything was and what amazing attention to detail was provided with every single glass of wine we were tasting. We were four folks who went for my farewell trip here, and it’s one of the top places I’d recommend for events like this.
  • Very friendly guys attending to guests for wine tastings. Prices are good too. Eventually we found 2 wines, each for our individual taste, which we purchased. Thanks guys, would come back when in SA!
  • A beautiful historic place with a deep history in the wine making of the area. Enjoy your Cellardoor experience, the place, the Sunken Gardens and the vista with the rolling hills. ...and if you like to stay there's a Backpackers. Events there aren't to miss either so as the 2nd largest SA arts festival SALA with works by high-profile artists. Think on the Chateau also for private events, weddings and business events in one of their rooms.
  • While the wines here are good, the atmosphere is horrible. The staff seemed stressed and under pressure. They took the whole thing way too seriously - we were warned not to look like a big group so had to go in 2 different doors. We wouldn’t recommend this place, unless there is a change and the staff are treated better I would say avoid as the other wineries are more laid back and friendly!
  • Good cellar door. Great building and heritage
