Linfield Road Wines, Williamstown

#4 of 6 in Things to do in Williamstown
The Wilson family winery makes tiny batches of single vineyard elegance from their Southern Barossa Valley vineyard.

The Linfield Road story begins in July, 1860 when a nature loving Englishman by the name of Edmund Major Wilson settled on the fringes of Williamstown in the Barossa Valley.

Since those first plantings the Wilson family have fostered a viticulture tradition that now spans five generations, one hundred and forty seven vintages, five tractors, at least seven unpatented inventions, hundreds of kitchen table meetings, thousands of winter stews, and a whole lot of red wine.
