Evans & Tate, Wilyabrup

#6 of 23 in Wineries in Wilyabrup
Evans & Tate found its Margaret River home in 1974 on the northern bank of the Wilyabrup River. Known for its well-drained gravel soils, Mediterranean climate and maritime location, it was the perfect location on which to plant vines.

Since these humble beginnings our winemaking philosophy of Evans & Tate has focused on maximising fruit quality in the vineyard, along with producing wines that balance power and elegance. Evans & Tate wines tell the story of our home and the year that was.

  • Obviously can only rate on my purchase of the Evans & Tate Pile Driver Shiraz. Love the fruity flavour and is not harsh on the palate. Definitely will continue to be a part of my future purchases. Hopefully I can make a visit, when visiting the area over the Christmas/New Years holidays. Always keen on Australian Wines. So glad that your Shiraz was available at Dan Murphy's in Berwick, Victoria. 😁🍷
  • Always love stopping in at Evans and Tate. Wine is good, cellar door staff friendly and knowledgeable. They also have garden games out the front and spectacular views from the deck out the back.
