One of the cities of the Barossa Valley wine-producing region, Tanunda has an easygoing atmosphere stemming from its close connection with agriculture and viniculture.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Tue): do a tasting at Rusden Wines, do a tasting at Seppeltsfield, then learn about winemaking at Kalleske Wines, then learn about winemaking at Murray Street Vineyards, and finally do a tasting at Soul Growers. The oldest European settlement on South Australia's mainland, Glenelg is named after a former Secretary of State for War and the Colonies, Lord Glenelg.

Primarily a marine industry town, Port Lincoln has about as many marina trawlers and grain silos as luxury yachts.
