Overlooking scenic Georges Bay, St Helens is the largest town on the northeast coast of Tasmania, ranking among Australia's top destinations for recreational game fishing.

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Sun): tour the pleasant surroundings at Coles Bay Jetty, then see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, and then trek along Wineglass Bay Lookout. On the next day, look for all kinds of wild species at Freycinet National Park.
