Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
St. David's Cathedral and St John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church will appeal to history buffs. Puddleduck Vineyard and Henry Jones Design Gallery are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Spend the 14th (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.
