On the 14th (Fri), identify plant and animal life at Cataract Gorge Reserve, snap pictures at Alexandra Suspension Bridge, and then don't miss a visit to The Town Clock. Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Gala Estate Vineyard and Spiky Bridge are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from the city and head to Wineglass Bay Lookout and Freycinet National Park. Go for a jaunt from Coles Bay to Swansea to see Melshell Oysters about 46 minutes away. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Friendly Beaches, take in the waterfront at Coles Bay Jetty, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Honeymoon Bay.
