Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Tue): look for all kinds of wild species at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, take some stellar pictures from Constitution Dock, enjoy the sand and surf at Seven Mile Beach, then stroll through Opossum Bay Beach, and finally kick back and relax at Kingston Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 27th (Wed): kick back and relax at Bellerive Beach, kick back and relax at Roches Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Okines Beach.

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Take a break from the city and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Friendly Beaches. Step off the beaten path and head to East Coast Natureworld and Coles Bay Jetty. Change things up with a short trip to Spring Vale Wines in Cranbrook (about 34 minutes away). Next up on the itinerary: experience rural life at Freycinet Marine Farm, trek along Wineglass Bay Lookout, do a tasting at Gala Estate Vineyard, and make a trip to Bicheno Blowhole.
