Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Step out of the city life by going to Tahune Forest AirWalk and Seven Mile Beach. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Nature & Wildlife Tours and St. David's Cathedral. Take a break from Hobart with a short trip to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton, about 30 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: admire the landmark architecture of St John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.

Use Inspirock's suggestions to plan your Hobart trip and find the best activities and attractions for your vacation.

Melbourne to Hobart is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry and bus.
