Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Tue): pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial.

Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Step out of the city life by going to Shark Diving and Turquoise Bay. There's much more to do: enjoy the sea views from Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, see the vivid underwater world at Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area, look for all kinds of wild species at Ningaloo Reef, and take a memorable tour with Tours.

Broome

Broome ©
A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
On the 24th (Wed), stop by Uniquely Broome, stroll through Cable Beach, then explore and take pictures at Gantheaume Point, and finally admire nature's wide array of creatures at Aqua Broome. Keep things going the next day: see the interesting displays at SSJG Heritage Centre and then kick back and relax at Broome Town Beach.

Traveling by flight from Perth to Broome takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. When traveling from Perth in July, plan for much hotter days and a bit warmer nights in Broome: temperatures range from 35°C by day to 17°C at night.
