Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. Here are some ideas for day two: kick back and relax at Cape Le Grand National Park.

Sydney to Esperance is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and car; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Sydney to Esperance. Expect little chillier evenings in Esperance when traveling from Sydney in October, with lows around 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Wed) early enough to travel to Exmouth.

Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Kick off your visit on the 31st (Thu): appreciate the history behind Potshot Memorial, meet some fierce fish with a shark diving experience, and then explore the gorgeous colors at Ningaloo Reef. On the next day, explore the gorgeous colors at Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area and then kick back and relax at Turquoise Bay.

Fly from Esperance to Exmouth in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. Traveling from Esperance in October, things will get a bit warmer in Exmouth: highs are around 39°C and lows about 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Fri) to allow enough time to travel to Perth.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Tue): stroll through Little Beach, then kick back and relax at Greens Pool, and then learn about winemaking at Forest Hill Vineyard.

You can fly from Perth to Albany in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Perth in November: high temperatures in Albany hover around 25°C and lows are around 12°C. You'll have a few hours on the 6th (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling home.
