Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Tue): go for a walk through Battery Point Sculpture Trail, steep yourself in history at Cascades Female Factory Historic Site, then engage your brain at Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, and finally identify plant and animal life at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.
