On the 5th (Fri), identify plant and animal life at Cataract Gorge Reserve, then snap pictures at Alexandra Suspension Bridge, and then indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 6th (Sat): explore the world behind art at Queen Victoria Museum & Art Gallery, then admire the verdant scenery at The Tamar Valley, and then walk around City Park.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Launceston is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of train and flight. You'll lose 2 hours traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Launceston due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Kuala Lumpur in April, expect Launceston to be much colder, temps between 20°C and 7°C. Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
On the 7th (Sun), make a trip to Bicheno Blowhole, get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and then trek along Wineglass Bay Lookout. On your second day here, look for all kinds of wild species at Freycinet National Park.

Drive from Launceston to Coles Bay in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and car; or take a bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Mon) so you can travel to Eaglehawk Neck.

On the 10th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: step off the mainland to explore Maria Island National Park, then make a trip to Tessellated Pavement, and then appreciate the history behind Dog Line.

Traveling by car from Coles Bay to Eaglehawk Neck takes 2.5 hours. In April in Eaglehawk Neck, expect temperatures between 21°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Hobart.

Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Go for a jaunt from Hobart to Brighton to see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary about 30 minutes away. On the 12th (Fri), give your taste buds a day to remember with a local gastronomic tour. There's lots more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, get a taste of the local shopping with Salamanca Market, get curious at Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, and take a leisurely stroll along Constitution Dock.
