Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Kick off your visit on the 25th (Tue): stroll through Seven Mile Beach, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, then identify plant and animal life at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, and finally wander the streets of North Hobart.
